- How soon will my insurance coverage begin if I make the purchase online?
Policy status is subject to policy approval by underwriting & issuance. After payment of the first premium you need to send or get collected other necessary documents that include Age and Address Proofs, to enable us to issue your policy at the earliest.
This process usually takes 10-12 days. In case the policy requires you to undergo a medical check-up; you will be called by the service provider's customer service personnel for the same.
- Do online insurance companies have agents?

- How do I get an insurance quote online?
Getting an insurance quote online is as simple as filling out the company's questionnaire. You will be asked questions related to the premium amount you are comfortable paying, the payment modes (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly), the chosen period for your policy tenure and the investment funds you are interested in. You can manually select these funds or you can leave our investment advisors to decide on your behalf.
Post this you will be provided with a Benefit Illustration (sharing of this is a mandate by IRDA) that will provide you your latest policy update.

- What's the difference between a credit card and a debit card?
A credit card is a card that lets a consumer access funds in a credit line set aside for that user. When the purchase is made, and settlement occurs, funds are drawn from the credit line and deposited to the merchant's account.
On the other hand, a debit card is a payment card whose funds are withdrawn directly from the cardholder's checking account. With an online debit card, the customer must enter a PIN to authorize payment at the time of sale (and the funds are settled through a debit network). In the case of offline debit cards (generally with Visa or MasterCard logos) the customer signs a receipt, as would be the case in a credit card transaction. In this case, the funds are transferred after batch settlement.

Monthly mode is allowed only through ECS. ECS form should be uploaded on the website where the online proposal form is to be filled. You can also pay by credit card, by a one-time cheque or by cash/DD.

- When will the payment I make be applied to my policy?
Online payment made by you will reflect instantly by way of an online receipt that will depict your transaction details. This receipt will be mailed to your registered mail ID.
- Will I be sent a receipt?
Once your online transaction is through you will receive an online receipt in your registered mail ID inbox. You will also receive a physical copy of the filled form and the Premium Payment Receipt.
- What is the entry age to buy this policy?
The minimum entry age is 18 years. The issue age of the Life Assured / Policyholder is calculated as age attained (i.e. age last birthday) as on the date of commencement of the related benefit.
